The main advantage of google services in my opinion is the group work on docs. It's great that both the students and the teacher can edit the doc in the real time together. This makes it a perfect tool for working with texts and proof proofreading.
Google from is great for making quizzes and questionnaires. This makes it a great tool not only to give the online tests in class, but also for homework.
Google drawing is great for building diagrams and scenes, but I personally like pages better.
